At a time of multi-level crises it is necessary and urgent for Christians to take a deeper look in their Faith for the purpose of not only salvation of self but also Faith and the world at large. In this effort Athos and Orthodox America can play a very important role. The basis for such an assertion is the fact that Orthodoxy and Athos have maintained the spirit of Christianity unadulterated through the centuries, Athos predominately so.

We are all often confused with the complex, ever-changing picture of Orthodox churches and, to a lesser extent Athos.
